Intuition vs. AI: Are we losing the magic touch?

📖 Business history is full of moments when company founders made decisions that, at first glance, defied logic. These choices weren’t backed by surveys, data, or trends—but by something less tangible: intuition, gut feeling, a deep inner conviction that “this just feels right.”

💡 Time and again, it was precisely these irrational decisions that sparked breakthrough innovations — be it the creation of a new product, entry into an unexplored market, or a radical strategic shift that redefined the company’s future.

🤖 Today, however, businesses are captivated by artificial intelligence — whether in the form of large language models or the emerging wave of autonomous AI agents. These tools are built on data, logic, and prediction — and in many companies, they’re already replacing entire processes or even departments.

✨ But in doing so, are we not depriving ourselves of that magical irrationality that once gave birth to the most groundbreaking ideas?

This reflection invites a critical question: If we rely solely on what can be rationally justified, are we not giving up a crucial part of human creativity?
Would Apple have invented the touchscreen phone, or Spotify the idea of renting music, if artificial intelligence — and not intuition — had been calling the shots?
